Riva del Garda has just emptied the large crowd of people who had come to witness a milestone of the Italian season. This week let’s look behind the scenes of the GC32 Riva Cup, one of the most popular events of the year by fans of sailing. A real show, made possible by the wonderful work of Bresciani Autotrasporti and BG Lift’s CWE 525 compact crane. Despite the magnificent show offered to the many spectators, this time we decided to be among the leaders.

For those who were looking for an exciting face to modern sailing event, on Lake Garda (Trentino side) it has inaugurated the season of the GC32 Racing Tour 2016. It was the first time in the world that 9 hulls of GC32’s size raced all together and no lover it wanted to miss the show. From the coast it was possible to admire the top of the sail in action, a great race that has put in front of a team with exceptional sailors. The event would also be an opportunity for the curious to discover for yourself the technology of these amazing hulls, unique in their kind. Shortly before the start, a lot of attention has been captured by the work of other modern means, which allowed the races to spread no sail.
