Maurizio Piantoni becomes majority shareholder of Delta Crane: a new strategic step in industrial lifting

April 2026 – Maurizio Piantoni, CEO of BGLift, has personally acquired a majority stake in Delta Crane, a company active in the industrial lifting sector. The company’s shareholding structure is composed of three partners: alongside Piantoni, in his role as majority shareholder, are Roberto Della Latta and Rosario Colombini.

The transaction marks the start of a strategy of expansion and diversification aimed at strengthening the company’s presence in segments complementary to those currently covered. The entry into Delta Crane stems from the desire to broaden the scope of action in the lifting industry, integrating new solutions and expertise capable of addressing increasingly specific operational needs and establishing a more structured presence in this area, contributing to the completion of the offering and the overall strengthening of competitiveness.

As Maurizio Piantoni himself emphasizes, this represents “a natural evolution of the path undertaken in recent years,” a decision driven by a clear vision: expanding presence in the lifting sector by covering complementary and highly technical areas. The transaction, carried out on a personal basis, however fits into a broader plan oriented towards growth and diversification. “The market demands increasingly targeted, high-performance and integrated solutions,” Piantoni explains, “and this is why we are working on developing a product range capable of effectively covering multiple segments.”

The entry into Delta Crane therefore represents a first concrete step in a strategy intended to evolve over time. “We are building a solid industrial project that will not stop with this operation,” Piantoni continues, “but may include new entities and further developments, with the aim of creating value through skills, technology and vision”.

At the same time, the commitment to the development of innovative solutions continues, with a constant focus on research, design and performance. “We want to continue bringing our approach to innovation into the industry,” Piantoni concludes, “based on continuous research, attention to performance and the ability to anticipate market needs. We are only at the beginning of a journey aimed at significantly strengthening our presence in the industrial lifting sector”.
