BGLift is ready to surprise the lifting world. On the occasion of the Italian Lifting Days (GIS), the company unveils a machine that marks a turning point in its history: the Cocco 50 Transporter.
Known for its compact cranes, spider cranes, and truck-mounted solutions, BGLift has always combined extraordinary performance with reduced dimensions. This year, on the GIS stage, the company takes a bold step forward, introducing an innovation that redefines the very concept of mobility and load handling in complex spaces.
The name Cocco is a statement of intent. The crocodile, a symbol of strength, resilience, and adaptability, moves with calm precision and acts only when necessary. This is exactly the technical personality of the new Transporter: powerful yet discreet, designed for environments where movement control is crucial.
Like the crocodile, Cocco 50 adapts. It works indoors and outdoors, tackles complex surfaces, and moves nimbly in tight spaces, maintaining stability and safety. It is more than just a transporter – it is a new way of thinking about material handling.

Cocco 50 is radio-controlled and consists of a tracked undercarriage and a mobile platform that can adjust both height and tilt independently – up to 8° laterally and 5° longitudinally. The three-point support system that moves the platform is a mechanical simplification that ensures precision, enhanced by state-of-the-art sensors developed by BGLift.
The hydraulic circuit has been carefully designed: it not only allows the machine to travel on any slope thanks to its 105 kW engine, but also to power any hydraulic equipment installed on the platform, making it extremely versatile.
“We wanted a machine that was not just a transporter, but a platform capable of becoming the heart of multiple applications,” says Roberto Marinoni, engineer and prototype manager at BGLift, who led the project. “We believe we have found a truly innovative solution compared to what the market offers today. Cocco 50 is designed to transport anything and host different equipment while maintaining precision, stability, and safety.”
Fabio Di Minico, Head of BGLift’s Technical Office, highlights that the project required in-depth work on safety parameters and risk analysis to ensure that every operating condition was properly managed. The technical team also faced the challenge of designing a machine capable of adapting to very different scenarios while ensuring constant, reliable performance. “The real challenge was combining versatility with safety,” explains Di Minico. “Every work configuration involves different masses and conditions, and Cocco 50 was designed to handle them all without compromise.”

Michele Piantoni, Head of After-Sales, notes that Cocco 50 was born after extensive market research and listening to customers’ real needs. “This allowed us to identify where existing solutions were falling short and to work with the technical team to transform these needs into a concrete project. Cocco 50 is the result of a shared vision between sales, after-sales, and engineering, offering uncompromising performance and safety.”
Maurizio Piantoni, CEO of BGLift, adds: “GIS is the perfect opportunity to present our latest innovation: the Cocco 50 transporter. This launch comes in a year that is already very important for us, having introduced the M100 (both diesel and electric versions), the M400 electric, and the T4000 truck-mounted model. Innovation remains our top priority: we want to provide customers with increasingly versatile, technologically advanced solutions that work in synergy with our compact cranes, making material handling more efficient and safe.”
With Cocco 50, BGLift renews its commitment to innovation, creating solutions that simplify work in increasingly complex contexts. This machine represents another step in the company’s strategy to offer a complete, integrated range of handling and lifting products.
The goal: to support customers in making every operation safer, more precise, and more efficient, opening the door to new applications. Its debut at GIS is just the beginning: Cocco 50 will soon be seen on job sites worldwide, becoming an indispensable tool for those seeking top-level versatility and performance.
